NATURE OF THE CASE: This was a dispute over the criminal liability of parents of minors for crimes that their children commit.
FACTS: Ds are the fathers of minor sons who were found guilty of driving snowmobiles on a public way. The language of the statute indicated that parents would be responsible for violations by any person under 18.
