NATURE OF THE CASE: This was an appeal from a RICO conviction. Bagaric (Ds) appealed the judgments that convicted them of violations of RICO, contending that the government failed to prove an economic dimension sufficient to bring them within the language and intention of RICO, 18 U.S.C.S. 1962.
FACTS: Logarusic (D) was convicted of a RICO violations and appealed. D contends that a letter discovered in a consent search of his home was not properly authenticated. The letter linked D to Baresic an unindicted coconspirator.
