NATURE OF THE CASE: This was a dispute over exclusion of NRA members on voir dire.
FACTS: D was charged with various firearm violations alleging possession of and failure to register an illegally made machine gun, conspiracy to falsify and falsification of firearm records with a fictitious name for the purchase of handguns. During voir dire, NRA members were excused solely for membership in the NRA. D was convicted and appealed.
