NATURE OF THE CASE: This was a personal injury action from a touch football game.
FACTS: P sued D for injuries inflicted in a touch football game. P claimed that D ran
into her from the rear after P caught a pass. D claimed that he accidentally collided with D
after he failed to intercept the pass. D moved for summary judgment and it was granted under
assumption of the risk. The court of appeals affirmed.
