NATURE OF THE CASE: This was a dispute over the identity of a legatee in a will.
FACTS: Henry's will left $6,000 to his good friend Richard H. Simpson. The legacy was
claimed by Richard H. Simpson and Hamilton Ross Simpson. The lower court held for Hamilton
Ross and Richard H. has appealed arguing that parol evidence was not admissible to oppose
his claim.
