NATURE OF THE CASE: This was a dispute over an ambulance chasing law.

FACTS: Florida had a rule that did not allow attorneys to send a written communication to a prospective client for the purpose of obtaining professional employment if the letter concerned a personal injury or other type wrongful death or disaster if the misfortune occurred within the prior 30 days. Went For It, Inc.(P) filed a declaratory and injunctive relief action challenging that law as a violation of the First and Fourteenth Amendments.
