NATURE OF THE CASE: This was a sex discrimination action. Association (P) appealed a decision, which found in favor of Wynne (D) laws firms in various pretrial orders requiring P to reveal the true identities of certain anonymous lawyers and to answer certain defense interrogatories.

FACTS: Ps launched a sex discrimination lawsuit against two Dallas law firms (Ds) for sex discrimination in the hiring of summer law clerks. The suit named four female attorneys as plaintiffs but labeled them A-D as they did not want to reveal their identities. D initiated discovery and demanded to know who the four secret plaintiffs were. The trial court ordered the identities revealed and P appealed.
