NATURE OF THE CASE: This was an appeal from a burglary conviction.

FACTS: Stowell (D) was employed as a freight conductor by the Rock Island Railway. D was given a key to all the depot and freight room doors in his division. D was arrested after using his key to gain entry to a company warehouse where from he took two parcels valued at $10. D was convicted of burglary. D appealed.
