NATURE OF THE CASE: This was a dispute over whether a marriage was entered into.
FACTS: A marriage was entered into with documents that recited that in fact there was no marriage. H caused his future W to sign two documents. H was in fact a family law professor who taught the law of family relations at college. H prepared the documents in anticipation by himself that the marriage was entered into by coercion and threat.
