LANNAN V. STATE
600 N.E.2d 1334 (Ind. 1992)
NATURE OF THE CASE: Lannan (D) appealed a conviction of child molestation.
FACTS: D was convicted of molesting V.E., after hearing testimony from another girl who said D had molested her in the past and testimony from the victim regarding several other instances of molestation which were not charged. D was convicted and appealed. D's petition for transfer asks this Court to abandon the so-called 'depraved sexual instinct' exception under which evidence about these uncharged acts was admitted.
