NATURE OF THE CASE: This was a dispute over veteran’s benefits for a conscientious objector.
FACTS: P was a conscientious objector who served required alternative civilian served. P then applied for veteran's benefits and was turned down; the statute required military service. Ps claims were rejected by the administrator and the administrator rejected the claim that the statute was unconstitutional.
